The mission of the Gilbert Optimist Club is to aid and encourage the youth of Gilbert and surrounding communities in the belief that the giving of one's self in service to others will advance the well being of humankind, community life, and the world. Club members seek to lead by example by sponsoring local activities that focus on youth and by participating in nation-wide activities of Optimist International. The Gilbert Optimist Club strives to develop optimism as a philosophy of life.
